CINETRAIN IS THE PRODUCTION COMPANY WHICH IS ORGANIZING AND MANAGING THE SUCCESSFUL CINEMA PROJECTS, SHORT AND FEATURE FILMS, MUSICALES.

The name of the Cinetrain company comes from a number of the Kinopoyezd projects. The Cinetrain is a continuation of traditions of documental cinema. In the 1930-s there was Kinopoyezd of Alexander Medvedkin, – the film crew went across Russia in a specially equipped train consisting of several cars removed generally propaganda plots, developed a film in the train, montaged and showed the result to people in other towns. It was the unique project in the world.

In 2007 the company of young cinematographers Guillaume Protsenco, Nikita Sutyrin, Natasha Pavlovskaya, Aleksandra Marchenko, – were willing to repeat the idea of this experiment, but already in modern conditions. Tatyana Petrik has acted as the producer of this project, and the first modern Kinopoyezd consisting of 7 film crews of cinematographers from the different countries has gone on the Trans-Siberian Railway from Moscow to Vladivostok. Result – the Cannes Film Festival. Success of first Kinopoyezd and the huge interest of young cinematographers of the different countries have pushed to the organization two other “Kinopoyezds” in 2010 and 2013. The documentaries created within projects Cinetrain became participants and winners more than 200 world best film festivals, such as Locarno, Sandens, Chicago and many others.

In 2016 the full-length picture “Wake me up” was released. The director is Guillaume Protsenko, a part of creative group consisted of the former participants of the Cinetrain project. The movie “Wake me up” has gained the Special diploma of the International Kinotavr Film Festival for the best musical decision of the movie, a special prize of the Stalker Film festival, and the featured actress Irina Verbitskaya has been awarded ranks of the best actress at the International Festival of the Russian Cinema in Marbella (MIRFF) in 2017.

In 2018 to the big screen there will be two pictures where Cinetrain is a co-producer. It is the musical “The Song of the Tree” (Darak Yry / The Song of the Tree), collaboration with Central Asia Film and “The Perfect Ones” – in a co-production with the company Mars Media.

Andrey Epifanov

Andrey Epifanov is a Russian businessman and philanthropist. He was born and lives in Moscow, Russia. In 1989 he graduated from Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO), the faculty of international economic relations. He perfectly speaks several foreign languages.

In 2013 he sponsored the international project “Kinopoezd”, after which he became professionally interested in cinema.

In 2016 he became an investor and producer of the feature film “Wake me up”.

Tatiana Petrik

Tatiana Petrik graduated from The Russian state institute of cinematography of S.A. Gerasimov (VGIK) – Economics Department. In 2005, she founded the «MiruMir Studio», the main activity of which was the shooting the international film projects, as well as the support young filmmakers.

As the director of the film workshops under the guidance of Tatyana, over 20 diploma works of VGIK graduates were produced at the institute’s training studio. In cooperation with European partners, the following feature documentaries were shot: “Rublevka – the road of the kings”, “The Russian wunderkind”, “Competitors”, “Non-fatal weapons”, “Creation of a new man” and others.

The main achievement of the “MiruMir Studio” was the international project “Kinopoezd” in 2008. Tatyana’s debut in production the feature film is “Wake me up” (2016).

Guillaume Protsenko

Guillaume Protsenko is the French director with Russian heritage. He was born in France, and has been living in Moscow during 15 years. Guillaume graduated from The Gerasimov Institute of Cinematography (VGIK) (faculty of direction the fiction movies). As the diploma work, he shot the short film «Changes 89» which became the best movie on Yalta film forum in 2012.

In 2008 Guillaume becomes the creative producer of the international project «Kinopoezd» which movies were participants and prize-winners of a set of international film festivals, such as Locarno, Sandens, Chicago and many others.

In 2016 Guillaume shot his debut feature movie – «Wake me up» which received a plenty of positive reviews by authoritative film critics and was awarded with a prize «The Best Music» at the International Film Festival «Kinotavr», a special prize at the Film festival «Stalker». Irina Verbitskaya was awarded as «Best actress (2017)» on the International Festival of the Russian Cinema in Marbella, Spain (MIRFF).

Elena Petrik

Elena Petrik graduated from the State University of Management (Moscow, Russia) which throughout century surely keeps positions of the leader of administrative education in Russia with qualification of an engineer-economist.

Elena has ability to work with large volumes of information. She has very good organizing skills.

Since 2008 works as the accountant in film production.
